Role at Allyis

My role as IT Operations Manager is both strategic and tactical as I am involved in long term, strategic planning as well as day-to-day operational support. I manage the IT department and oversee troubleshooting across the corporate LAN, server and desktop connectivity, operating systems, and applications.

Experience & Approach

I have 20 years experience working in IT for companies like Dictaphone, Boeing, and Weyerhaeuser. This background has given me in-depth experience designing, building, and supporting scalable and secure network environments.

A Favorite Project

While working for Morse Best Innovation, I completely rebuilt their development and production networks. The development environment was built-out across multiple VLANs, which enabled developers to run duplicate virtual environments at the same time. The production environment, which included the corporate network, was built to include a Cisco Layer 3 switch and Cisco PIX firewall, which allowed for an SMTP gateway and SharePoint 2003 extranet for client collaboration on projects.

Fun Fact About Me

My family and I spend a lot of time every year traveling between Oregon and Washington pulling a 30-foot fifth wheel. We particularly enjoy spending time in Medford, Oregon.
