Role at Allyis

As a senior Web developer, I build new features, functionality, and admin tools for client projects, as well as assist in troubleshooting any problems or issues that arise.

Experience & Approach

My first career was in computer hardware support, which gave me insight into coding all aspects of a computer. Over the course of 35 years, I have encountered both success and failures in my technology development work, all of which today helps me anticipate issues that can arise during development. I am constantly researching and exploring to stay on top of an ever-changing development environment. This, combined with my experience, helps me find the right design balance between simplicity and order without smothering originality.

A Favorite Project

My favorite project was the SharePoint OPC website. This project was a big undertaking requiring advanced SharePoint training and research. It was leading edge development on a grand scale. Drilling deep into SharePoint architecture and working with the MOSS User Profile gave me a sense of accomplishment. Best of all, I think the team worked well together and developed an even stronger bond. We were all proud with the results.

Fun Fact About Me

I recently spent four weeks in France with my wife. It was quite the experience driving the narrow country roads, navigating the cobblestone corridors of medieval villages, and finessing the intricate dance of the round-a-bout.
