Position Overview:
Allyis seeks a top-notch professional communications manager to work with our enterprise client in the fast-paced software industry. Work as part of a team to manage readiness and skills development material tied to the release cycle of software products in the developer space. This job is a blend of content aggregation, content management, project management and communications management and execution, to a highly receptive internal audience. Manage the delivery of important collateral across intranet sites and newsletters.
This position is a full-time role working from the Allyis office in Kirkland, with occasional meetings as needed at the client’s location. Bring your talent and enthusiasm for knowledge management to our team!
Responsibilities:
Aggregate content from multiple sources, and organize it by topic, audience and relevance
Direct all content to appropriate delivery vehicle for communication to target audience, including but not limited to newsletters, intranet sites and a searchable content database
Manage all updates to internal database on a daily basis, to ensure data quality and accuracy
Manage all communications to internal team of status, schedule and priority of tasks
Aggregate content for weekly newsletter, including writing headlines and blurbs as needed
Develop and nurture relationships with stakeholders and content sources, to maintain visibility and access at all times
Required Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication
Highly organized, thorough and detail-driven
Experienced with Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio
Experience with internal communications and newsletter creation – titles, blurbs and short descriptions
Knowledge of tagging and metadata strategies and best practices
Microsoft SharePoint experience preferred
Professional skills development and/or certification program experience preferred
