Position Overview:

Allyis is looking for a top-notch Business Analyst to work on our in-house team, capable of handling multiple dynamic projects simultaneously. The position is responsible for accurately gathering, consolidating, analyzing and documenting business rules and detailed requirements. Applicants should have excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a high-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

Collect, review, analyze, evaluate and prioritize business and system requirements

Document business requirements, translate the requirements into use cases and process flows

Work with the technical lead and developers to translate requirements to system design

Serve as a liaison to other application development teams in planning, coordination, development and deployment of multi-team projects

Establish scope and effectively manage project scope utilizing change control processes

Address issues and mitigate risks, communicate status to business, IT Management and other IT teams that are impacted by the project

Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Proactively maintain an understanding of the client's business practices

Provide innovative ideas and solutions in an ever-changing environment

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience in information technology with 3+ years as a Business Analyst managing the delivery of information technology solutions

Strong facilitator; adept at running meetings with end users, gathering and managing business requirements, and balancing priorities

Must demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, negotiation, facilitation, consulting, problem solving, decision-making and analytical skills

Possess solid communication skills and a strong customer focus

Self-starter and must be able to work under minimal supervision

Must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to give effective presentations

Have a proven ability and willingness to quickly learn new custom enterprise applications

Demonstrated success in the development and delivery of information technology solutions

Experience in managing small to mid-size development projects with a proven track record of effectively delivering results in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities

Proficient in MS Project and Visio

Experience with the SharePoint and .NET applications are preferred but not required for consideration

Degree in business administration, computer science, software engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
